Dr. Dodson House offers five-star hospitality and an in-town location just one house from the harbor and steps from popular Talbot Street with its interesting shops and fabulous restaurants. The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and St. Michaels Museum at St. Mary’s Square are nearby, in addition to numerous in-town parks. Muskrat Park, a block away, boasts an outstanding view of the harbor and hosts Thursday Night free concerts in the summer. The inn was built in 1799 by Samuel Harrison, and began life as a tavern and the town’s first post office. History buffs will appreciate its original features, including doors, woodwork, fireplaces, and wavy glass.
When you stay at Dr. Dodson House Bed & Breakfast, you will notice the difference in the attention to detail. 2018 will mark the 25th year that our guests have been warmly welcomed and pampered during their stay.
