The Simmons House Bed and Breakfast is located at 209 Starling Avenue, right in the heart of the Historic District of Uptown Martinsville. It is right next door to Piedmont Arts and it will allow you to shop the uptown furniture outlets, take a self guided walking tour, shop in local boutique style shops, see original art pieces at The Artisan Center and Studio 107, or enjoy a delicious meal uptown.
We are located a block away from the Virginia Museum of Natural History, and we are only a few miles from the Martinsville Speedway, Smith River Sports Complex and Trails. The Simmons House is great for weddings, receptions, special events and even romantic getaways. It is conveniently located near the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, Danville, Chatham and the Smith Mountain Lake.
