Description
While giving much of a feel of a historic home, The Jacqueline House was actually built from a dream just over twenty years ago. The original owners, Bob and Lynn Harry, had looked elsewhere to begin their new venture of owning a bed and breakfast, but circumstance and providence brought them back home.
They began the large addition to their then modest farmhouse, and endured a whole year of countless hours planning, searching, and constructing to make The Jacqueline House the gorgeous structure it is today. The home itself may not be considered an “antique”, but it was built with the same quality and feel of a time more than a century ago. The ornate crown molding is complemented by reclaimed pieces that are from this house’s true time.
Both fireplace mantels, large stained glass window, and detailed stair railing were all salvaged and repurposed to their original beauty. Our adored antique front door was installed into a custom made glass surround accentuating its position for warm welcomes and extravagant hospitality.
