The Red Cardinal Bed & Breakfast is located near the centers of Carlisle and Boiling Springs.

From our B&B, it is an easy drive to Shippensburg, Gettysburg, Lancaster, Hershey and Harrisburg.

We are centrally located to the area’s most popular attractions: The Carlisle Collector Car Shows (15 min/7 miles), the Appalachian Trail Center in Boiling Springs (5 min/2.5mi), the fly-fishing along the Yellow Breeches Creek, Dickinson College (15 min/6 miles) and Penn State Dickinson School of Law.

Our beautiful home dates back to the early 1880’s. The land and the dwelling were part of a larger tract belonging to the Craighead family, who settled the area in 1742.

As you approach our home, you will see a charming house with an inviting front porch. When you step inside, you will be greeted with old-fashioned hospitality. A few additions over the years, give the house its charming personality.
