From our 4118 ft. elevation, we have been a part of Highlands, NC history since 1939 when were were known as Mitchell’s Motel. 2020 marks our 82nd Season and is a Highlands landmark.
For three generations, the Mitchell family has been welcoming guests and has seen Highlands grow from a small mountain town to an exclusive resort which offers quaint shops and specialty boutiques, summer theatre, art galleries, chamber music, exquisite dining and many other cultural attractions.
