Fainting Goat Island Inn

Overlooking my 17 acre island in the Susquehanna River (1 mile east of Tioga Downs Casino, 1 minute off Interstate 86/17 on the NY/ PA border) is the Fainting Goat Island Inn. The proximity of Tioga Downs, Breweries and Wineries, Tioga Country Club, and a gathering of small towns makes this an excellent location for a fun, relaxing place to stay at ….. a step back in time.

Guests have reported being woken by the voices and visions of two women having tea in the Fainting Room. A child-sized chair has moved beside the bed in the Nubian room, gum balls have spilled onto the floor of an empty hall, footsteps have been heard on a staircase that no longer exists, and eyes have looked back from mirrors. According to a recent intuitive guest, the most active spirit is a little boy. Step outside the Inn for a walk around the ample grounds and enjoy the gardens and its many perennials. Bring a book and sit by the river, watch the deer on the island, the ducks on the water, the eagles, and the Pyrenees Mountain dogs. Don’t forget to check out the Fainting Goats!!
