Build in 1800 on 7 acres of land, the Inn is the oldest building in Lake Placid. Updated by owners Stacia and Mike, the Inn has maintained its charm and comfort for the 21st-century traveler.

Begin each morning with complimentary breakfast in the dining room, which includes homemade yogurt (a secret recipe!) and fresh pastries from a local bakery. Take your coffee to the Great Room, which boasts cathedral ceilings framed with yellow birch logs and warm up by the original fireplace. Hop in the car and drive ten minutes to the greatest winter sports destination in the northeast– Whiteface Mountain. In the spring and summer, explore the trails through the picturesque Adirondacks. The Village of Lake Placid is minutes away and offers great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.

Happy Hour is included in your stay– from 5-6pm, choose from a selection of cocktails, wines, beers, and cheese and charcuterie boards. Settle down for the evening in your private, authentically Adirondack room. Each of our rooms are named after prior owners– like Melvil Dewey of the Dewey Decimal System– and contain unique, hand-picked antiques.
