Description
John & Lisa Matusiak welcome you to their charming seaside Cape May Bed & Breakfast. The Bacchus Inn Bed & Breakfast is located in the primary historic district of Cape May New Jersey and is only a short walk from the fabulous shops, restaurants, and Cape May Beaches. Our Bed & Breakfast consists of 2 buildings; there is the “Main House” (719 Columbia Ave, formerly “The Brass Bed Inn” Bed & Breakfast) and there is the “Cottage”. Overall, we have 13 guest rooms which offer a variety of amenities to all of our guests.
The Bacchus Inn Bed & Breakfast is named after the Roman god of wine. Bacchus was the son of Jupiter. He showed mortals how to cultivate grapevines and make wine. He represents not only wine but also wine’s social and beneficial influences. Therefore, Bacchus is also viewed as the promoter of civilization, law, and peace.
The wine theme is carried throughout our two charming Victorian inns. Guests may relax in the Victorian parlor, enjoy a glass of wine on the porch, or engage in a friendly game of billiards. The Bacchus Inn Bed & Breakfast has much to offer, including romance, charm, and wine in a historic beach resort. The Bacchus Inn Bed and Breakfast is open in; spring, summer, winter, and fall just like much of Cape May. Experience each season and explore the different adventures offered.
