The house was built by French Canadian stone mason and carpenter Ovila J. Bourbonnais in 1942. He was well known in the area and had a hand in many of the local businesses, including the design and building of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Granby. The house has a rich history thanks to the various residents and businesses that have called her “home” over the years. A courtyard separates the main house from the guest house and suites providing privacy for both owners and guests alike.
