Description
Tucked away on the peninsula of Hancock Point, The Crocker House Country Inn was built in 1884. Its quiet, out of the way location, fine dining and simple, cozy guestrooms, make the Inn a relaxing home-away from home from which to explore Acadia National Park and Downeast, Maine.
The Crocker House is best known for its cuisine. Breakfast is reserved for the Inn guests, but the dining room is open to the public from 5:30 p.m. on weekends in the spring and fall and seven days a week in the summer. The entrees are prepared to order. Breads, soups and desserts are made daily in our kitchen. To complement the meal we offer an extensive wine and beer list as well as a fully stocked bar. Reservations are requested.
While the Crocker House does not overlook the water, it is bordered by Frenchman Bay on the south and east and the Skillings River to the west. On Hancock Point all roads lead to the water. Moorings can be reserved by guests arriving by water. The Point is perfect for walking, cycling and jogging.
