Located in Maine’s Mid-Coast region, only two blocks from Camden’s charming seaside village which features unique shops, sumptuous restaurants, and picturesque harbor. The Captain Swift Inn offers luxury and pristine lodging; impeccable service and unparalleled candlelit breakfasts to discerning travelers – all in a relaxed, upscale, and casual environment!

Although a Maine bed and breakfast for many years, the Inn has just completed a major renovation, and more than just the structural and system improvements – everything in the Inn is new! From new quality Comphy brand linens, hypoallergenic pillows and comforters; plush euro top mattresses; thick thirsty Turkish towels; new furnishings, spa showers, and many other varied amenities that we believe our guests will value.

Our Inn features 9 soothing guest rooms and suites, all handsomely appointed; boasting en-suite baths to include spa showers with massage body sprays. Some rooms have private decks; most have fireplaces and all have smart TVs with premium channels. You’ll enjoy spending time at the patio, warming by the fire pit, or lounging in any of our three fireplaced sitting rooms. Soft music; fresh flowers; locally made chocolates; plush robes and more are what you can expect while staying at the Inn! Let us spoil you with our signature three-course candlelight breakfasts which is a unique and memorable experience. It typically begins with a European inspired continental buffet, followed by a prepared fruit course and then the entrée of the day. However, in our desire to be extremely cautious, we are temporarily suspending our first-course buffet and instead will be offering and serving the same menu options to you.
