Description
Get away from it all – to those peaceful bygone days. Away from the modern pressures and urban tension – back to those “good old days” of yesteryear, when the pace was slower, life simpler and relaxing was a way of life, not a luxury.
Let the stresses of a hurried life slip away in the country elegance and informality of Hotel Warm Springs.During the Roosevelt era, the hotel hosted such guests as the King and Queen of Spain, the Queen of Mexico, President Sergio Osmena of the Philippines, Bette Davis, FDR’s secret service men, the press, and a host of other import VIPs. The ice cream parlor, known as the Tuscawilla Soda Shop, was frequented by the President Roosevelt himself. Built in 1907, the architectural history of the Hotel Warm Springs has been preserved but with modern conveniences added.
