The Allison House Inn is a two-story, historic home located in a historic community. The house was built in 1843 by former Florida Governor Abraham Kurkindolle Allison. Gov. Allison was a Florida businessman and politician who served in the Florida Territorial Legislature and the Florida State House of Representatives. He served as the sixth Governor of Florida at the end of the American Civil War. The Inn was converted to a Bed and Breakfast in the 1960s.
