Estes Park Bed & Breakfast

Our desire to someday be an inn keeper came from a television show we watched about twenty-eight years ago called The Bob Newhart Show. This show took place in Vermont, in the woods, at a little inn. I told Bill that someday I would love to be an inn keeper just like the show.

Bill, being an avid Craig’s List shopper, found a very interesting listing. The listing was a bed and breakfast for sale with an option to take a trade. The timing seemed right to take on a new adventure. Our previous house was not on the market and we were not really thinking of moving to the mountains. We lived in Longmont, a forty minute drive from Estes, and our two kids had already moved out, one married and the other a student in college. Within a month we were making the move up the mountain and have loved every minute of it!
