The Belden House, the original structure of this premier Sonoma Wine Country Inn, was built in 1922 in the Mission Revival architectural style. This style includes red-tiled roofs, stucco walls, exposed rafters, and corbel beams.

Transformed into a luxury bed and breakfast in 1985, it was eventually declared a Sonoma County Historic Landmark.
