We are living a dream, here in Tok, Alaska, and we invite you to share it with us!
Alaska first got into my blood during summers in college. I came up during college to work at Denali National Park as a park ranger, and spent 4 seasons there and at Talkeetna. I went back down to the lower 48 to finish school, but I always wanted to come back to Alaska. A dozen years later, we moved to Tok, in 2010!
I have the best job in the world, teaching kindergarten at the K-12 school here in Tok.
We would be happy to give you a tour of our garden, and greenhouse (aka: the jungle). We enjoy the challenge of raising fresh food in the short growing season of Tok. We all work together in the fall to preserve the fruits of the “jungle”, as well as berries and meat that we harvest from the land.
