Description
Everhope is approximately 35 minutes from The University of Alabama. We have hosted
everyone – parents of students, professors, governors, CEOs, models, actors, rock stars, film crews filming at Everhope, authors, professional athletes, and people like you and me looking for a place to unwind and unplug.
We are sold out for the May 2020 University of Alabama Graduation and filling up for
next season’s home football games! So thankful for all the love our repeat guests provide.
2019 was an awesome year with being featured on the Canebreak Homecoming Tour of Historic Sites as a part of Alabama’s Bicentennial Celebration. Everhope is a stunning example of Greek Revival architecture boasts its original heart of pine floors, windows, woodwork, and even its original doorbell! It was designed by architect David Rhinehart Anthony to be Big, Bold and Beautiful.Constructed atop a solid foundation and likely built with virgin pine and oak harvested on site, Everhope sport walls four times thicker than modern standard. It has stood the test of time and architect David Rinehart Anthony would be proud that Everhope still remains as he designed it – Big, Bold and Beautiful. Everhope Plantation is part of the National Register of Historic Places and the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage for its architectural significance.
