The Drop Inn Bed & Breakfast

The Drop Inn is an early twentieth century farmhouse, completely restored and refurnished with period authentic antiques. It has two bedroms with double sized beds with each bedroom having their own private baths. Both of these bedrooms adjoin a large living room and dining room.

The inn is located on the historic Drop Farm, named for Mr Charlie Waldrep, who purchased the land in 1903. In the years since, the farm has remained in the same farming family. It has been the center of an agricultural operation supporting dairy, cattle, cotton and soybean operations.

The farmhouse was originally built in the dogtrot style. It was remodeled by the family in the 1950’s. The floors of the original house have been maintained as have several of the tongue and groove ceilings and walls. The farmhouse is surrounded by barns, farmsheds, gardens and rolling pastureland.

Depending on the time of year and your specific room selection, our rates currently range from $100 USD to $200 USD per night. These prices are based on double occupancy and are subject to a 5% state/local lodging tax. Reservations can be made online, by email, by phone or in person. Please feel free to call with any questions and concerns. If you have a special request (i.e. diet or allergies) or travel/event plans relating to your visit, please let us know when making your reservation. We will work hard to meet those requests if possible.
